Getting started – Before you’ve registered
You can easily sign up online using our course configurator. There you’ll find a clear overview of all available German courses.
No, at speakeasy Stuttgart you won’t pay any additional registration fee once you’ve chosen your course. Please note: course books are not included in the course price. You can conveniently buy them directly at our front office.
To actively participate in class, you need the following books:
Intensive Course, Super Intensive Course, and Evening Course:
- A1.1 to B1.2: "Momente", coursebook and workbook (Hueber)
- B2.1 to C1.2: "Vielfalt" (Hueber)
Telc preparation course B1 (Intensive):
- "Deutsch Prüfungstraining: Zertifikat Deutsch“ (Cornelsen)
Our course configurator offers various payment methods: credit card, PayPal, debit card (EC card), or instant transfer.
Yes! At speakeasy Stuttgart, we regularly offer promotions like early bird discounts and a €10 “Bring-A-Friend” bonus if you recommend a friend who signs up. Plus, the more consecutive months you book, the lower the price per month! Please note that these discounts apply only to directly consecutive months. You can find more details in our Terms & Conditions.
We offer different course times, so you’re sure to find one that fits your schedule. If your plans change, you can switch to another group – depending on availability.
Yes, up to 10 days before the course starts, you can switch to another month free of charge or receive up to a 70% refund of the course fees. After this period or once the course has started, changes and cancellations are unfortunately no longer possible.
We don’t offer accommodation ourselves, but we’re happy to share tips for finding a place to stay in Stuttgart.
Yes! Our Super-Intensive German Course with 18 lessons per week meets the requirements of the German embassy for language or preparatory study visas. After booking, you’ll receive a confirmation of registration (subject to a fee) for your visa application.
Our group courses have between 4 and a maximum of 14 participants. Small groups mean more interaction and personalized support.
At speakeasy Stuttgart, one course lasts four weeks. Shorter courses are also possible – feel free to ask us.
In our intensive and super-intensive courses, you can complete levels A1, A2, or B1 in around two months each. Level B2 usually takes about three months, and C1 about four months. Evening courses are less frequent, so completing a level takes longer.
Our teachers have native-level German and many years of experience teaching German as a foreign language. With enthusiasm, expertise, and clear explanations, they help you make quick progress.
Yes! Just send us an email and we’ll arrange a free trial lesson for you.
Take our free online placement test (Placement test), which gives you a good indication of your current level. Alternatively, we can set up a free placement interview with one of our teachers.
Ready to roll – After you’ve registered
Our school is centrally located in Stuttgart at Olgastraße 79, easy to reach by public transport and close to the main train station. Online courses take place via Zoom; you’ll receive the access details by email in advance.
You can buy the required course and exercise books directly at our front office. An overview of prices can be found here.
No problem! If there are spots available, you can switch to a different group free of charge within the same course month.
We have an online library where our teachers upload homework and class materials. You can also join our free live online learning support to catch up or better understand the topics. You’ll receive all access details by email after registration.
Unfortunately not. Rescheduling or cancelling telc exams is generally not possible.
